Common questions about visiting MediPill.

Visit whichever is most convenient – Botley (west), Headington (east), Summertown (north), or Deddington (north Oxfordshire). All four branches offer our NHS and private vaccination services; ear wax removal and cholesterol checks run at Summertown and Botley only. Your prescription history follows you across branches.

Not all of them – three of our four branches open on Saturdays. Botley is open 9am-2pm; Summertown and Deddington are open 9am-12pm. Headington is closed on Saturdays, and all branches are closed Sundays.

All branches have street parking nearby. Botley has free 2-hour parking in Westway Square. Headington has on-street parking on London Road. Summertown has metered parking on Banbury Road. Deddington has free village parking near Hudson Street.

No. You can collect NHS prescriptions and use NHS Pharmacy First at any MediPill branch regardless of which one you are nominated to. We can also switch your nomination on the spot if you would like.

Yes – every MediPill branch is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and follows the same clinical standards. All pharmacists are GPhC-registered and DBS-checked.

Most services, yes. NHS Pharmacy First, travel and private vaccinations, blood pressure checks, period delay, weight loss clinics, and private prescriptions are available across all 4 branches. Ear wax removal and cholesterol checks run at Summertown and Botley only, and the Yellow Fever centre is at Summertown – book online and we will direct you.
