Do I need an appointment?

Yes — you can walk in to any of our 4 Oxford branches. Booking online in advance is free and guarantees your slot; a same-day urgent walk-in appointment carries a £25 fee. We recommend pre-booking for ear wax removal and weight loss consultations to secure a longer slot.

Are these services free on the NHS?

No — these are private clinic services with a transparent fee. They are designed for people who need same-day care without a GP referral. NHS services (Pharmacy First, NHS Vaccinations) are listed separately under "NHS Services".

Can I get a private prescription if I have an NHS GP?

Yes. Many people use private prescriptions for travel medication, holiday emergencies, or repeat medication when their GP cannot see them quickly. We can also fulfil prescriptions issued by private doctors.

Are pharmacists qualified to remove ear wax?

Our trained pharmacists use microsuction — the gold-standard ear wax removal method recommended by NICE. The procedure is performed in a clean clinical environment and is significantly safer than ear syringing.

How does the Weight Loss Clinic work?

After an online eligibility check and in-pharmacy consultation, our pharmacist can prescribe Mounjaro or Wegovy if clinically appropriate. We provide ongoing support, blood pressure monitoring, and dose adjustments throughout your weight loss journey.

Will my GP know about private clinic visits?

With your permission, we can send a summary to your GP. For private prescriptions of long-term medication or weight loss programmes, we recommend keeping your GP informed for continuity of care.
